Zynga has released an iPad friendly version of FarmVille for the iPad. Oh no, is this is a good or bad thing? The possible scenario’s are running through my mind faster than Apple can sell their next million iPad’s. I’ll try and slow my racing mind for a moment just to give you an idea of what could happen.

Flight Attendant: “M’am, the plane has landed, please hand over your rented iPad, grab your belongings and exit the plane”

Airline Passenger: “Please, just a few more minutes, I’m playing Farmville and can’t afford to have my crops wither”

Flight Attendant: “I understand but everyone else has left the plane and we have a schedule to follow here”

Airline Passenger: “Well your schedule can’t be nearly as important as this, plus I was just asked to adopt a baby calf, you must understand I can’t just let the poor thing starve or go homeless! Don’t you have a heart?”

Flight Attendant: “Please m’am, just turn the game off and follow procedure like everyone else or I’ll have to call security”

Airline Passenger: “I’d rather be dragged off of this plane than let this poor baby calf go without food, plus I’m so close to reaching the next level so I can finally surpass my friend Andrea, she thinks she is the queen of Farmville but I’ll show her!!”

Flight Attendant: “Have it your way then, SECURITY!!”

As much as I support Adobe Flash technology, maybe Steve Jobs was thinking clearly regarding this topic afterall. Perhaps he was trying to save us all from a global pandemic known as Farmville addiction. Maybe he saw it coming, tons of homeless people with cardboard signs that read “Will work for Farmville cash”. Probably not part of his strategy, and either way it doesn’t matter now.

It’s always good to laugh but on a more serious note if you feel you have a problem with the amount of hours you spend playing Farmville, one of the world’s most highly addictive games, check out the link below.
