Apple iPad sales continue to soar as over 3 million units have been sold in less than three months. Even though it comes as no surprise the number of purchased iPads is really quite the milestone, especially in such a short period of time.
Sales were already more than impressive before the iPad became available internationally last month. Of course introducing the iPad in a total of 9 more countries at the end of May did boost popularity and overall units sold. Even more impressive is the fact that overall iPad sales have come nowhere near reaching the highest plateau.
In July the iPad will go on sale in yet another 9 countries. This will have another big and positive impact on how many more people will begin using the iPad for everyday tasks as well as entertainment.
Just to give you and idea of how many people are loving this new device, according to Apple over 11,000 new apps have been developed specifically for the iPad since it’s debut. More than 225,000 apps are compatible with iPad and that number continues to grow fast.
