Keep in mind this news has not been officially confirmed by Apple. In other words, don’t go promising your kids a compact version of the iPad for Christmas just yet!! They might have to settle for an oversized, bulky, original iPad afterall, what a drag huh? You could just buy them a new iPhone 4G and tell them it’s the latest iPad V2, but nah, kids are too intelligent these days so that wouldn’t fly, plus the faulty antenna might give it away.

Anyway, back on topic here. Also included in the latest rumors are that the second-generation iPad will feature a OLED screen instead of a basic LCD panel, because let’s be realistic here LCD screens are so yesterday’s technology, right?

All joking aside though, only time will tell what Apple plans to do next. In my opinion Apple would be better off focusing more in other areas for improving the next iPad other than shrinking it, but hey, what do I know.
