There’s quite an abundance of apps available for the iPad but there’s a couple more I’d personally like to see in the near future. Maybe with a little luck the wait won’t be for much longer.
So here’s my current iPad app wishlist, not too much to ask for don’t you agree?
BBC Radio iPad App
I don’t know about you folks but I’m a huge fan of the BBC Radio 1 dance stations. For the past several years I’ve done my best every week to catch the latest shows from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Kutski, Annie Nightingale, Fabio & Grooverider and of course the famous BBC Radio 1′s Essential Mix just to name a few.
Yes I admit, I’m into that underground, million beats a minute type music and I have a lot of respect for brilliant DJ’s. There’s been a BBC News iPad app available for a while now and hopefully they plan on releasing a radio version for the iPad soon!
Facebook iPad App
I’m a bit surprised, as I know many of you are too, that Facebook, the world’s largest social media company, hasn’t released an app specifically for the iPad yet. Sure, there’s a version for the iPhone which can run on the iPad, plus you can visit the website with your Safari web browser but that’s just not the same.
Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg mentioned back in June during his interview at the D8 conference that a Facebook app would at some point become available. Of course an exact date was not mentioned and many people, including myself, are still eager for the app to be released.
I’d love to hear what some of your desired iPad apps for the future are so feel free to share and comment!
Eliza Dushku
Adriana Lima
Freida Pinto
Taylor Swift
Sienna Miller
