Jamboxx is a nifty new iPad app, a free one I must add, that allows you to start kickin’ it old school again just like back in the day when things like smelly stickers and mullets were considered cool.
Developed by the crew over at BSSP Labs, this fun and simple app will have you grooving with your favorite songlists instantly in funky retro style.
Tap the tape drawer button on the top left corner to create your own mixtape playlists. Easily sync music from your iTunes or iPod collection.
Jamboxx’s main interface has a boom box style design with plenty of realistic features at your control. Watch the speakers pulse while one of your favorite tracks is being played. Other cool features include:
- Realistic volume slider
- LED equalizer
- Toggle button to show remaining or elapsed time
- dB meter
- 2 different display modes (maximized & minimized)
- Add songs to your Top Jams favorites
If at anytime you need a quick tip on what features are available, while in minimized view click the question mark in the bottom right side of the screen. This will bring up a menu that shows you button locations and a description of what each one does.
You’ll be bad to the bone while rockin’ with the newly released Jamboxx music app. Overall I really enjoy this app and think it was well executed. Only thing I would suggest to the developers is to have the option to turn repeat on or off in one of their future updates. It is a fun little app I do recommend though.
Download Jamboxx today from the iTunes App Store.
