How many times have you stood there looking in disbelief as all your preciously saved data was compromised, you dreaded the day you even thought of buying an ipad and if only it was not that the damn thing was not so overpriced and expensive you will definitely smash it to smithereens. If this sounds even remotely like what you have previously experienced then you will know the pain associated with hacked accounts on or off your ipad, and if by chance you have never experienced this, then lucky you! However remember, it takes only slight deviation and you will have your account hacked. Do not be scared as there are multiple ways that you can use to save your self from this trouble, and the easiest and most effective way is to encrypt important data on your ipad.

The term encrypt should not be confused with password protection, though the two follow the same protocol, they differ in multiple ways. It is recommend that you have complex passwords that are not easier to break; this will in most cases deter hackers from continuously trying to find a loop hole in your firewall. There are multiple programs that hackers use to brute force break through your firewall. The most common programs are Trojans and worms. There have been recent developments of more advanced hacking software’s, such as the ‘timed request force worms or TRFW’ as they are known. These programs runs within your programs and will use sytem32 files to attach and run with a desired parameter that triggers a time request from files hidden within your operating system thus creating a loop hole in your firewall. Most antivirus are not designed for removing or healing such files, and if healing or removing the infected files is done, the whole system will crash.

Ipad owners are really at the mercy of most hackers, and what I found to be effective is to always monitor your internet usage, what I mean simply is to be aware of how you load a page and how much bandwidth you use at any given period. If some reason you don’t know how to monitor this manually, you can download certain apps on itunes that are designed to perform this task.

On a simpler note, the best way to fully encrypt all your data is to use certain apps on itunes that were designed to encrypt anything you deem important. Most of these apps are free, however I will advice everyone to buy the for sale ones as there are more effective and are continuously updated, and in most cases the password is triple encrypted, making it virtually impossible to crack the password and access the encrypted data.

Though apple company has done much about ipad security features, one can’t help stop thinking that all of the methods that apple uses on the ipad are outdated and provide little to know security, I mean any hacker worth his salt will tell you how easy it is to hack an ipad, and normally you can break the firewall in less than 5 minutes. As you can imagine this puts a lot of ipad owners at risk of becoming the latest victim.
