The white iPhone 4 is delayed once again. Originally scheduled to release this Christmas, the white iPhone will not be available until spring 2011, as Reuters reported.

“We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again,” Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller. She declined to explain the delay.

Apple does not give any reason why the white model has been so troublesome to produce. We just know from the company that it was “more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected.”

As a usual practice, Apple announces a new version of iPhone each year during WWDC in June. If Apple follows the same practice next year, there will be a great chance the so-called “iPhone 5″ will be unveiled in summer.

In my opinion, if you’re currently holding off the purchase of iPhone 4 and expecting a white model, think again. You better opt for the black model now or wait for the “iPhone 5″.

What do you think?
