Findone iconA free iOS app, FindOne, created by Debra Orton has been released in the App Store. It helps find iPad 2 availability in the US stores saving you the manual effort of calling each store over the phone and asking. Supports only Walmart and Target stores in US at the moment.

FindOne queries various superstore databases to find iPad 2 product availability within the radius of a specified zip code. If products are found, the store phone and address are displayed, along with a list of all the iPad 2 product types currently available in that store.

Users can narrow down the search by selecting the iPad 2 variant they want like AT&T or Verizon, Wi-fi or 3G, color, storage capacity etc. If you are too desperate and any iPad 2 model will do just fine for you, select All iPad 2 models and then search.

As you can observe in the screenshots, the stores where the iPad 2 stock is available are sorted based on the distance from the zip code you entered.

It is worth mentioning that the App also shows the store’s phone number as well as hours of operation.

You can download this app for free here. We are hoping that a future update of the app will bring support for more superstores.

The readers of AppAdvice, which first published about this app, are already reporting success stories about finding iPad 2′s with the FindOne app,
