While FaceTime offers high quality video calling, it only allows users to make video call to one person at a time. Today, Fring has released a new version of its iOS app and brings the group video chat feature to all iOS devices including iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

This is the first iOS app that supports group video calling. With the latest version of Fring, you can now line up to 4 participants and have a 4-way video chat between each other. As usual, Fring lets you make video call over WiFi, as well as, 3G network. The company claimed the video chat service is optimized across networks including AT&T & Verizon.

Provided you subscribe to an unlimited data plan, you’re free to make unlimited video call with any Fring users in the world. So if you used to talk to friends in other countries, ask them to install Fring and you can make the long-distance video calls for free.

Other than the group video call feature, Fring also lets interact with friends on all your favourite social networks including Skype, MSN Messenger, Google Talk ICQ, SIP, Twitter, Yahoo! IM and AIM. You can talk, chat or send IM with your buddies on multiple social networks for free.

Fring is now available on App Store for free download. If you want to have group video calls with your friends, go ahead and check out the Fring app.
