Air Sharing from Avatron Software enables you to use your iPhone as an external drive and to store documents for easy access on the go. We had reviewed this application a long time ago and it has still been one of our favorite productivity apps. The best part that I like about Apple’s App Store design is the ability to make in-app purchases. Imagine a scenario where you bought Air Sharing and you realize the features are not enough. When you want to go for Air Sharing Pro, why make a new app purchase when an in-app purchase lets you do that. You just end up paying the difference in the price. That’s something we really love and appreciate.

Now you might ask why would you need Air Sharing on the iPhone which is already so capable. After all the browser and mail apps do let you view most common file formats. The iPhone’s iOS software does not give you the ability to save these files for later use or sharing for files other than photos. This is where Air Sharing comes in. It lets you save, view and share files as and how you wish. In fact the latest version is so well integrated with iOS 4 that you can even send files from Safari or Mail apps to Air Sharing.
