Internet Explorer 9 downloads keep on rolling, hits 6 million in just two weeks

Two million Internet Explorer 9 Beta downloads was certainly an impressive number. Beta apps don't usually generate that kind of interest, but IE9's arrival has been on the highly-anticipated side.

It's not too surprising, then, to read the news from Microsoft that IE9 beta downloads have now crossed the 6 million mark -- in just two weeks.

Netmarket's latest stats
even show IE9 users as accounting for .25% of the browser market. That's no small feat for a beta release.
